Pedro Gianelli Thank you! And yes, it's been too long! I released a song-a-month digital series in 2011, with backing tracks, transcriptions, mix stems (available at www.bumblefoot.com/store.php) but before that it was the "Abnormal" album and "Barefoot" acoustic ep both in 2008. I've produced albums since then, done guest solos, film music, but now I'm clearing my schedule and making sure I finish an album in the next 2 months. Recently, you did some shows with the KISS tribute band, ‘A.L.I.V.E!’ Any plans to continue with this project? That was so much fun! It started last year when drummer Brian Tichy, bassist Rex Brown, guitarist Mark Zavon & I all recorded some songs for "A World With Heroes" (http://itunes.apple.com/album/world-heroes-kiss-tribute/id716859684), a KISS tribute album made by rock journalist Mitch Lafon to raise money for a cancer hospice. We recorded the songs "Detroit Rock City" and "Larger Than Life". We did a few shows together, calling it "A.L.I.V.E." and playing songs off the KISS Alive and Alive II albums. We all have spoken about doing it again, yes. Just have to see when all our schedules are open and we can be at the same place at the same time. You are a man of a 1000 projects. But what Bumblefoot is doing now? My main focus right now is the next Bumblefoot album, must finish writing and recording it. Been experiencing life in all its sunlit branches and darkest roots, watching old movies that spark new ideas, waking mid-sleep with lyrics to write, being the passenger and letting the creative flow do the driving. How is your situation with Tony Harnell and Blowout? Tony is wonderful...! We did acoustic shows and an acoustic album last year (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/tonyharnellthewildflower). Now he's on tour with his band TNT and is kicking ass like he always does. Blowout was Chris Pitman's creation, electronic music with Frank Ferrer on drums and me on guitar. We did a show in Florianopolis last year, it was great, but don't know if that will continue. Love playing with those guys. How was your entrance in GN’R? Is it truth that was an indication from Joe Satriani? Yes. It was Summer of 2004, Joe Satriani emailed me that he had recommended me. Any chances to come to Brazil soon? With GN’R, Tony Harnell, Blowout, or just Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal? I'd love to return, yes. Hopefully next year, after my new album is released I'd love to come and do shows. And workshops, those are a lot of fun! Very interactive and personal, I love that. Thank you! Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal

Carreira solo é o principal foco de Bumblefoot SEP 3, 2014 |
Pedro Gianelli Pedro Gianelli: Ron,
