The Borderline Pisa has hosted the final stage of the Italic mini tour of the legendary guitar virtuoso Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. Best known for his militancy in Guns N' Roses' Bumblefoot has assets even a respectable solo career and a loyal fan base that supports it for years and they certainly did not miss the opportunity this time to rush and support the artist during his live performances. A few months since his visit to Italy, precisely at the Guitar Night with Uli Jon Roth and Jennifer Batten last August in Cascina near Pisa, Bumblefoot is presented in a more cozy and intimate as that of the small club that allows him to have more direct contact with the public. The concert part almost shyly on the sly with these a bit 'intimidated by the caliber of the artist, but it is only a matter of moments that Bumblefoot able to conquer all, not only with his talent and his technical skills, but especially with the amazing ability to interact with his fans, involving singing, but also with hilarious jokes between one piece and another. Unlike the date of last August, this time the set list is almost entirely focused on his solo repertoire where stand the initial "Abnormal" in which the guitarist immediately shows his immense class and versatility, and the wonderful "Glad To Be Here" and "Objectify" compositions that most will remember even during the live Guns N' Roses. There is also the time to improvise various cover immortals as "Wasted Years" and "Little Wing", no need to write about those right? Pieces that every good music lover should know about these songs and just one remains amazed by the skill of Bumblefoot, not just the six strings, but also as a frontman, with a voice that knows how to pass a very natural tones more acute by true metal head to warm blues and, in short, a complete artist, really full. Other exciting time occurs before the encore, when Thal unexpectedly falls in the audience with a guitar and let immortalize with fans incredulous to say the least, as he continues to play undeterred without missing a note. To end the show we found a piece of Guns N' Roses, to be precise "Estranged", one of the best songs come out of "Use Your Illusion II" and for the occasion Bumblefoot invites fans to give him a strong man behind the microphone more precisely frontman Silver Bullets that in spite of strong emotion can not distort a piece of this magnitude.

At the end of the concert, though tired Bumblefoot four consecutive dates without a day off, finds the same time and enthusiasm to take pictures of autographed CDs, T-shirts, even Christmas cards, an artist with a capital A, and really humble the hand that always has a joke and a smile for everyone.

A heartfelt thanks also to the staff of the Borderline for the professionalism and the welcome they received.
