The lead guitarist for American rock legends Guns N' Roses (GNR), Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal will be playing with UAE-based band Point of View to raise money for wildlife conservation in India. The duo have joined forces with Wildlife Trust of India, an NGO that focuses of wildlife conservation and the proceedings from the album sales and the sale of two autographed guitars will go to conservation NGO Wildlife Trust of India (WTI). The band will perform in Delhi on June 14 at Hard Rock Cafe.

Bumblefoot joined GNR after a recommendation from the guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani after the position was vacated by Brian Patrick Carroll, better known by his stage name 'Buckethead'. Thal adopted the name Bumblefoot from the bacterial infection of the same name, which he learned about while helping his wife's review for her veterinary exams.

After shows in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bengaluru, Bumblefoot and Point of View will be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe in Delhi on Friday "I'll be on tour in India, special guest of the band Point of View. We'll be playing music from Point Of View, Bumblefoot & maybe jam a few Guns N' Roses songs too," wrote Bumblefoot on his website.

Point of View is a distinctly political band that has in the past taken up issues important to them. Their first album titled 'Revolutionize the Revolutionary' has eleven tracks that talk about hope in a world ridden with social evils, stigma, corruption, greed, racism and religious intolerance. Bumblefoot, who is a self confessed fan of the band, not only endorsed the band but also flew down to Dubai to share the stage with the band at their launch gig in October 2012 in Dubai
