Guns N' Roses Guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal Survives Serious Car Crash

Guns N' Roses guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal was in a serious auto wreck on Tuesday (May 31) but walked away unscathed -- mostly.
The guitarist, who joined Guns N' Roses in 2006, tweeted about the experience in near-real time, first revealing the extent of the crash, then making light of it while reassuring fans, "O please, I'm in GNf'nR - this is all like a walk in the park..."
Thal also used Twitter to thank Toyota for the "functional seat belt, air bags & crumple zone, you saved my skull..." If a picture is still worth a thousand words, click here to check out the image Thal attached to that 140-character tweet. Yeah -- it's kinda a big deal.
Apparently, an SUV plowed into his vehicle at full-speed, prompting his car to then smash into two others.
But, despite his band's reputation for taking their time with recording new material, not 24 hours after the accident, Thal was back at work on his upcoming solo album.
And with humor intact -- on Thursday (June 2), he tweeted, "Medical checkup this morning, don't seem to have any major issues other than a hairy back and a funny voice...," attaching a link to a YouTube clip of Metallica's song 'Whiplash.'
Yeah, kids -- he'll be just fine.
