This video was filmed in March 2011, in the
basement of an unfinished building under construction in New
York City, by 2nd Ave & 6th St. I sang & played guitar,
Dennis Leeflang
on drums, bassist
Doug
Odell, Eric & Fernando of Swervewolf.com
running the cameras. We cranked up the song through guitar
amps as loud as we couldpushit and played
along, hard - by the 2nd take I had already blown out my
voice and my legs were buckling, debris raining down from
the ceiling with every crack of Dennis's beat.
Hours of switching batteries, angles, lights, tripods,
shoulders, it seemed only appropriate that we film a second
version of the video, where we couldn't see eachother, or ourselves, and
to quote the song,"know what's it's like
to be invisible..."Lights out, every door and wall covered, taped and sealed
off, night-vision cameras loaded, and we continued on, in
total darkness, powered by instincts.
Recording and touring soon follows, months pass... and now,
as we hit the one-year Anniversary of the
Invisible song release, we have the Invisible video
release.
